At Four Seasons Early Learning, we believe that extra-curricular activities help children develop new skills, build their confidence and provide them with essential social skills. We carefully selected a wide variety of extra-curricular programs to enrich the foundation in which our students learn.
COOKING
At Four Seasons we want to teach kids that cooking is Fun! Cooking with kids provides practical experience with many essential skills such as reading, following directions, and measuring. Getting involved in cooking helps your child to develop fine motor skills, eye hand coordination, and even early concepts of math and science.
SCIENCE CLASSES
Four Seasons Early Learning provides our students with a dedicated STEAM program. Our young learners will learn to make observations, make hypotheses, and use critical thinking.
GARDENING
Four Seasons takes pride in creating an environment where our children learn and grow through gardening. Gardens are a great place to cultivate a meaningful and fun learning experience for children engaging their natural curiosity and wonder.
LANGUAGES (FRENCH & SPANISH)
Bonjour! Four Seasons provides a French language program for our students where an outside professional attends each class weekly providing a playful class with activities similar to what children would do in a French maternelle.
MUSIC
Our music program allows our children to discover an array of musical instruments. Four Seasons hosts a weekly music class for all our students provided by an outside professional. This program is designed to be fun. Through musical games and active interaction with a teacher and each other, kids learn basic musical concepts such as: rhythm, melody, percussion instruments, and singing.
SUPPLEMENTAL FAITH
At Four Seasons we understand the importance faith plays in families.
Although we are not a faith-based preschool, we wanted to provide an option for families who may be missing faith as part of their child’s educational journey.
